Woke up in a big white bed
In the sun
In the sun
Looking down on Jesus
Posing with a friend or anyone

So we went for some breakfast
Coffee and Tea
Thats when I realied your sugar I need

Now now, not now baby
Dont take this moment from me
Not now, not now baby
Wait till tomorrow
Ill be leaving
Not now you cant save it
Let today be coz if we come back
It's gonna be gone

Ooh

Took a drive headed for the sea
In the middle January we
Talked about the future
And ate ice cream
Just happy to be

And how I laughed when some old man
Said that you looked like Duran Duran

Not now, not now baby
Dont take this moment from me
Not now, not now baby
Wait till tomorrow Ill be leaving
Not now, not now baby
Dont take this moment from me
Not now, not now baby
Wait till tomorrow ill be leaving
Not now

You know that You cant save it now
This time tomorrow ill be gone
Not not, not now Baby
Dont take this moment from me
Not now not now baby
Wait till tomorrow Ill be leaving
Now now you cant save it
Let today be

Now now not now baby
Dont take this moment from me
Not now, not now baby
Wait till tomorrow ill be leaving
Now not you cant save it
Let today be coz if we come back
its gonna be gone

You know that you cant savie it now
This time tomorrow ill be gone

i think this song is about a time in her life when everything is going perfectly and she's looking forward to a big change, like leaving a previous life behind for something new and better, but she doesn't want to deal with with leaving anyone behind because there's nothing she or anyone can do to save it.

I adore this song! I think it's quite a simple meaning that still seems really powerful. I think they've both decided to end things, because the woman is moving on to bigger and better things. Both sides acknowledge the relationship is over, but she wants to enjoy the last of it without having that moment taken from her.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
