Magical Lyrics
Eyes locked, like, did you feel that too?
World stops, just us
Here under dots in the darkness
Of the blue, out of the blue
This is magical, this is magical
Is this how it feels to be in love?
This is magical, this is magical
Your skin brushed by my fingertips
Mornings, white mist
So delicate, covers as we begin
As we begin
This is magical, this is magical
Is this how it feels to be in love?
This is magical, this is magical
(Pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa)
Our thoughts in the open room
Lay here until the sun distills
Its light for the perfect view
Now I'm with you
This is magical, this is magical
Is this how it feels to be in love?
This is magical, this is magical

Not many people would have guessed that Ed Sheeran would be releasing a new project this year. “- (subtract)” dropped in May, but murmurs of more music started soon after. On August 24, Ed Sheeran confirmed his seventh studio album would be titled “Autumn Variations” and would arrive on September 29, right on the first day of Autumn. He has kept his word with the release of the fourteen-track project. The project kicks off with a track titled “Magical,” written by Aaron Dessner and Ed Sheeran.

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There’s something genuine about this track. From the instrumental to the lyrics, this record does a great job of capturing the warm and fuzzy feeling of being in love. Ed Sheeran and Aaron Dessner did well on “Magical,” and I’ll rate their effort a 9/10.
