He jumps off the boat and I don't see him swimming towards the moon's reflection, but I see him submerged deep enough and swimming towards the moon (in sight through the water) – an impossible task (to swim to a moon) – symbolic of happiness being an impossible task in his life. He keeps swimming but he does die.
Also, does anyone hear the chimaira-esque riff at around 6:27, it happens a few times before that but I can't be arsed to rewind hahaha.
Oh, and this album is sick, like all of BTBAM's albums. |

The guitar in the part where he says "I'm a mountain that has been moved..." the second time sounds like the Elecrtic Guitar on Garage Band, I think the sound clip is called Secret Agent or something of that nature. I hope someone actually knows what I am talking about haha. |

Forgive me if I'm wrong but all I think about when I read this and the chorus is that the guy is drowning/sinking at night and swimming upwards (towards the moon) is an impossible task. 'Life seems so much smaller' it's ending. Do you agree? |

I don't think the lyrics are as good, the older stuff had much more meaningful metaphors.
The music I think is just as heavy but a bit more singing. The drummer is amazing throughout this album. There is something which isn't quite like Oh, Sleeper though... |

I think that last part means instead of going out the house and looking at nature/the surroundings everyone has just come to watching it on the TV, basically TV has taken the adventure out of people's lives. |

I think this all correct :) I love this song. I think there is a hidden meaning to this as with most of Schuylar's lyrics.
Maybe something to do with him being schizophrenic? And he's not sure what he's going to do, he is slightly scared? Let me know your interpretations please x |
