It's about someone cutting through everyone that is stopping them from getting to the "glory kingdom". A violent "rite of passage" per se.
I think it's about looking for a lover whilst bar hopping. At least that's what I think of when I listen to it. The phallic image of the sword wrapped in flesh, the reference to feeding on knots of skin.
