You sunk my battleship Lyrics

Looks like I'm digging my grave
Slowly but surely
This loneliness is what's killing me
And no I'm not afraid
And yes I'm not afraid
I'm not afraid to die

Grim Reaper
Of course I'll let you in
You bring truth, you bring destiny
So let the ending begin
No, there's no stopping the inevitable

Open the skies
Take me away

So let the ending begin

Looks like I'm digging my grave
Slowly but surely
This loneliness is what's killing me

No more oceans,
just the static of our television

I got the lyrics from the cd booklet

I'm guessing what it means is basically like just shutting yourself off and staying inside, alone

no more oceans just the static of our television

maybe it's talking about society...but either way basically no more going outside, just sitting there watching tv indoors?

I think that last part means instead of going out the house and looking at nature/the surroundings everyone has just come to watching it on the TV, basically TV has taken the adventure out of people's lives.
