This song is sooo uhmazing. It really surprised me when I found out that people stopped listening to HIL because of Suck Out The Poison, but that was the c.d. that made me listen to them more. But anyways..... 1.Schuylar has the stinkin best voice ever. 2.The drums are uhmazing in EVERY song of theirs [go steve!] 3.The lyrics are absolutely positively brilliant 4.I really like how its not the same with every c.d. I mean consistancy is great, but when its like Hawk Nelson and EVERYTHING sounds the SAME. I think this new c.d. will bring back some of the old fans.

i think it's about a guy who turned into a vampire, and he's explaining it to a friend/lover.
he tells her to stay off the street at night so she doesn't get attacked by vampires.
"This is not for your eyes to see, so won't you please stop staring at me I think you better find a way out of here, 'cause i don't think you'll like what i've become" he's telling her to get out of here because he's a vampire and he's ashamed of it, and maybe afraid he's going to bite her.

i think you're both right. looking at the way Schuylar has written all his lyrics, most of the time its been about things going on in someone's head. So looking at it as someone that is just simply changing works, then adding the aspect of using "Vampires" as a personification to what is going on in whoever's mind, seems to sum it up more.

i believe this is talking about a guy and how he has really changed over the years and how everyone has drifted away from him, yet the person he likes is wondering and he's trying to kind of lead her towards himself yet he doesnt want to show her his real side because he has changed from the person he was befor
he also goes onto say that the more he acts like his new self the more the girl will stray from him.

There are a few lines I'm not really sure about when I listen to this, and I don't think they're quite right here either.
"Wash your mouth out with the maker's meat" doesn't really make that much sense to me.. I think it might be "mead".. I don't really hear a hard T sound on the end, and it makes more sense that way to me. I could be wrong, but that's all I can think of.
"Walk until you kindly wander"... It doesn't sound at all like "kindly", but I can't think of another word that makes any sense there and sounds like what he says.
"Sunday window pains" I think it might be "sunny window pane/pain".. "Sunday" doesn't really make sense there at all, but sunny does and fits with the vampire theme.
Any input would be appreciate.
I think IAmLegend hit it on the head, the obvious is about a vampire and it is clear, but the meanings can be applied to many things. Maybe Schuylar just likes to apply other meanings to the supernatural. Either way, the song is grand. :D He Is Legend FTW.
