Smoke It Lyrics
Hey I’ve been thinking
I’ve been thinking about nothing
Yeah
Now I’ve been thinking about nothing
But doing nothing but thinking
Oh yeah
I know what it is to be there now
People
There ain’t nothing here but people
Dig it yeah
People got problems
And they got problems with people
I know what it is to be there
You got to smoke it
Just as long as you can smoke it
Yeah
People got problems
People got problems with people
I know what it is to be there
Uninsured car payment
Amortization
Local collection
Man's latest litigation
I should have stayed in college
For about another hundred years but
I never wanted to be there no
Alimony palimony
Don’t get too drunk in Vegas
At least not with a waitress
From any of those places
People got more baggage than JFK… yeah
And I’m talking about the airport man
You got to smoke it
Just as long as you can smoke it
Yeah
We got child proof containers
We got use only as directed
Inspected by number 9
Yeah seems like he checked it
All right
Here we go
Everybody gather
Everybody together now
So let’s get a big round of applause
Big round of applause
For all the brothers and sisters
And brothers’ mothers and sisters’ other mothers
Other brothers’ sisters’ mothers
Anyone
Anyone who’s here
Yeah
Let’s have a big round of applause
Anyone who can do it yeah yeah
Smoke it
Just as long as you can smoke it
Yeah
People got problems
People got problems with people
I know what it is to be there
Filed for an extension on my taxed emotion
Paid off my house and then it fell into the ocean
I’ve grown up quicker
And handling my liquor
And yeah
You know what it is to be there yeah
I registered to vote
So I can extend my exemption
Man I thought lottery was a fifth dimension
See that’s why I never voted in the presidential elections
Cause women are clearly more qualified to select oh
Smoke it
Just as long as you can smoke it
So if you’re going to be a dog
Then at least be a good dog
Come on now
Sit beg stay
We’re gonna smoke it
Just as long as you can smoke it
Yeah
So now the people got problems
And they got problems with people
I know what it is to be there
Smoke it
I’ve been thinking about nothing
Yeah
But doing nothing but thinking
Oh yeah
People
There ain’t nothing here but people

Relapser is right. This is a "fuck it" song.

It's quite a feat to use this many words and still say nothing at all. I love this song.

It's not about nothing. It's about growing up and transitioning from a carefree youth to a neurotic adult and it's telling you to keep being carefree as long as you can, because being old and serious sucks.

I agree with the "fuck it" part, but I think it's because there's all this crap going in the world.

"People got more baggage than JFK… yeah And I’m talking about the airport man " hah theres a lot of good lines in this song
