Fall Apart

Sometimes when I hear a song I can definately feel it and it seems to hit somewhere even if I dont know the exact meaning of it yet. This is one of them. It seems to have somethin to do with trying to get recent bad memories off your mind by writing them down (perhaps in poetry, songwriting, etc.). Then when you start writiing them you realize that you just don't really fit in anyway and it was gonna end sooner or later. This then makes him think he's really unwanted and doesn't fit in and it makes him feel like shit so he just yearns to "feel like I belong."

can someone explain these lines to me.. i kinda get it but i want to know if you're thinkin the same thing.

I'll say what I think it means. I think its sayin that he realizes (when he's writin it down for "someone to relate") that he doesn't belong. That its his faulty self (he's blaming himself) that makes him not belong and the others (whom he blamed before) aren't to blame.

• u start alone, you end up being alone, as it ends realization of the situation comes hits hard, so hard that the pain urges you to do something like get a tattoo in regards to toughing up and dealing with the pain

• life experiences can constantly change the kind of person you are, but if a particular experience has made too much of an impact in ur life, then that would forever change the way u are, no more change after that cause nothing can compare.

Another waste of time Another dream in flames And once you feel the fire You'll never be the same

• your efforts in love were wasted cause its ended, your hopes of a longer and better partnership destroyed, once you feel love like that for someone, it changes who u are completely, even after u have parted ways

i belong

• on your own now, the feeling of being with someone was so high that its made u weaker than before you got involved in this mess, in all the trouble you feel desperately alone, and you just want to be part of something again or mentally find a place where you can lay the situation to rest

All my life I've done nothing but hide from myself I've done nothing but lie to myself

• a depressed understanding of who you are as u come to realize how much you hav changed since being in this relationship, u use to live in ur own world, ur own shell, blinding urself from the obvious truth about things, and here comes someone that has pulled you out of your intrinsic world and shown you how better it is outside...
