| The Wedding – Redeem Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Is it only me, or is this like the most beautiful song ever? | |
| The Fold – Down In Doubt and Living Without Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| What the heck is "misunderstance"? ;) I think it's "happenstance". And at the end of that bridge, "I've picking all" is "I blame it all" | |

| Ivoryline – Parade Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't know about that. It does seem like it, but I think these guys are Christian. I am not sure about that, so I might be wrong. | |
| The Wedding – This One's For You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Yeah, definitely a feel-good song | |
| Jon Foreman – Southbound Train Lyrics | 18 years ago |
When I read this for the first time I thought, "Woah, "her breasts"? Jon!" and then I read the rest of the line.... Has God created a more gifted songwriter than Jon? Simply amazing |
| Jon Foreman – Equally Skilled Lyrics | 18 years ago |

| The Classic Crime – Seattle Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Yeah, I know all about the "Christian band" stuff.... | |
| The Classic Crime – Seattle Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's "all this time" for the pre-chorus line. This song is beautiful and passionate, I like the rain analogy with Seattle. I think the song is about how we search for all the things in life to try to make us happy, but no thing can really make us happy. Also, I know they don't say it in the song, but God is the only way to fill the void in our lives, (not meaning to preach, but they are a Christian band and I'm guessing that's the point of the song) |
| The Fold – Catastrophe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| though I think the book is very often wrong... | |
| The Fold – Closer Lyrics | 18 years ago |
It's "very well be selling umbrellas" Stormtrooper is right, same idea |
| The Fold – Catastrophe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I have the lyric book in front of me: The last chorus goes, "Hey Catastrophe I think I'm getting good Destiny resolves in a tragedy" and the end of all the choruses are "I only feel alone", instead of "I barely feel at all" |

| Thousand Foot Krutch – The Last Song Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think we're good....: "I wrote this song at the very end of the writing process, I was so beat, and remember just feeling very emotionally/mentally drained. It was intended to be more of a sarcastic “ok, here it is, it’s done. There you go, critique it, love it or hate it, it’s all out on the table.” It’s funny, as an artist, you sometimes feel like people are waiting in the helms for the record to release, so they can cut it up, tear it apart, give their quick effortless 2 cents, and most of the time miss the point of what you were trying to say anyway. Haha, I know that sounds a tad negative, or perhaps a little dramatic, but believe me it often feels that way. So after all, it ended up turning into a song. When we all first started this, there wasn’t anyone (outside of a few friends here and there), constantly trying to compare, dissect, or look for flaws/faults in what we did. It was (as it is now) an honest form of artistic expression, with just way less pressure/responsibility for the results. I love music, I love what we do, and these things are all just a part of the growing process and privilege it is to write/play music for a living. I accept that, and am thankful for everyone who still loves music for music." - Trevor McNevan |

| The Wedding – Schizophrenia Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Just read the next line. "If all you are is a little confused, then all your sins are excused That's what you thought, well didn't you?" |
| The Wedding – Rebound Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I think maybe you're right, but I can't change it. It's too superficial for me to report it, if you want to go ahead. pick pick pick pick pick pick it up! |

No comments! Well then, 1st Great worship song, not "worship" style, of course. It basically states that God is always with you when you believe in Him |

| The Wedding – This One's For You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Not quite sure what it means, but it sounds great. Maybe a tribute to an old friend or something? | |
| The Wedding – The Last Stand Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Great song, very catchy, sounds great. Not sure what "leave it on my arm if you can tell" means Good fight song, I read somewhere that this is "Wake the Regiment 2" The original of which is confirmed to be about soldiers overseas fighting for their families, for their country, and for God |
| The Wedding – Southside Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This definitely seems to be a feel-good song about living life to its fullest. | |
| The Wedding – I-540 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| After doing some research, I've found that the title could possibly mean Interstate 540, which runs through Arkansas, which is where the band is from. Maybe it holds special meaning for them or something. | |
| The Wedding – Revelation Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This is definitely about a wedding, maybe the source of the band name? Anyone have any inside info? It's a beautiful song. |
| The Wedding – Rebound Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This is hard to determine the meaning for me. But it does feature the most awkward line in music: "Look over and over it from the top down" very clunky line | |
| The Wedding – Misery Loves Company Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| It's saying that even though I'm a horrible person, done more bad than good, God's grace still covers my sins even though sometimes it feels like I'm too bad to be saved. | |
| The Wedding – It's Time to Rock (On) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
The chorus says it all: we fight for a God who heals the sick and the broken and loves them. I love the guitar solo, bass solo-thing, and the heavy screaming breakdown. Was there any precedent for any of that? |
| The Wedding – I-540 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| A love song, also thanking God for using his significant other to build him up. | |
| The Wedding – I'll Sleep When I'm Dead Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I like Christian fight songs, very powerful and exciting. The bagpipes are cool, but the chorus sounds kinda clunky |
| The Wedding – (Hidden Track) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is located 9 minutes into the album version of Fireworks, and there are some freestyle verses I can't understand too well, so if anyone manages to type them up I'll add them to the lyrics | |
| The Wedding – Fireworks Lyrics | 18 years ago |
A break-up song with the theme of Independence Day Lemme know if any of these are wrong lyrics |
| Chasing Victory – Fiends (Selling Out Ain't Easy) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Well that was profound... Anyone else? |
| The Wedding – Song For The Broken Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Hope for discouraged Christians | |
| The Wedding – Schizophrenia Lyrics | 18 years ago |
1st: I like the riff in this song, I'm not too clear on what it means, but I'm catching a whiff of something like this: The things we do to build ourselves up and our pride destroy us and keep us from being the people God wants us to be. "It's better to be a fool in their eyes" implies that not fitting in with the world is ok and even good Sermon over |
| The Wedding – Say Your Prayers Lyrics | 18 years ago |
simply_me has it, pretty much, the verses say that Despite the world being these evil people doing bad things we keep our commitment to God (or we should) A couple of corrections, too I think it's "corporate carnivores" And, silentsaint's changes are correct My third and final order of business: I just posted the rest of the lyrics from Polarity, so they should be up this week |
| Dead Poetic – Vices Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I don't really understand the third verse though about "She". Any ideas? |
| Relient K – Crayons Can Melt On Us For All I Care Lyrics | 19 years ago |
What the heck does the title have to do with anything? Anyway this was the biggest laugh I've had in weeks. This is awesome, I'll have to say it's better than Kickoff. |
| Demon Hunter – Undying Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I've always thought of the "final heartbreak" as the end times right before Jesus returns, how everything is going to be horrible until He returns and all Christians go to heaven. I have, of course, considered death and, reading the quote from the band, know that I was wrong but I don't care. | |
