Revelation Lyrics
They take off their coats and they start to fill the rows.
The scene is all laid out; it’s what we always dreamed about.
Chorus:
Cause you and me have stood the test of time and proved that we will make it out all right.
Today is when faith will turn to sight.
The preacher takes his place, all eyes watching as I wait.
The doors open wide and I can’t believe my eyes.
(Chorus)
Funny thing is it doesn’t matter much, what the world could try and throw at us.
Cause they could never touch us now
(Chorus)
The scene is all laid out; it’s what we always dreamed about.
Cause you and me have stood the test of time and proved that we will make it out all right.
Today is when faith will turn to sight.
The doors open wide and I can’t believe my eyes.
Cause they could never touch us now

This is definitely about a wedding, maybe the source of the band name? Anyone have any inside info?
It's a beautiful song.
This song was writting long after the band was started. The name has to do with the relationship between God and the Church. :)

I think it's about a funeral, actually, and about how he's going to heaven? And I always thought their name was about the way the Bible describes the relationship between the church and Jesus as a wedding.
I'm pretty sure the song is actually about revelation, in the end when we encounter Christ, the bridgegroom. I like how they make it seem like an actual wedding at first and then when it gets to the end, you're like "ooohhhh!"
