apparently thom described the lyrics as 'extremely violent'. this song didnt make me think of divorce, although that is a solid theory. it made me think more of someone being kidnapped, tied up, or held captive in their own house. something unsettling like that. |

i know what you guys mean when you say you dont like it when people always say songs are about drugs (people do that a lot with gorillaz on this site...) but i think this song actually is about drugs. but its more than just that. sometimes songs have more than one meaning. it has references about heroin, but if you look past that, this song has a lot more to it. mostly about death. also, it wouldnt be that damn unlikely that this song is about drugs, because all of the band members were very heavy drug users. |
