It's Gonna Be A Long Night Lyrics

Heard that you were new in town
Someone said you party down
Well later I'll be comin' around
We'll rack 'em up and suck 'em down

Don't call your mother, don't call your priest, don't call your doctor, call the police!
You bring the razor blade, I'll bring the speed
Take off your coat, it's gonna be a long night!

There'll be no second chance for you
Tomorrow you'll be black and blue
Show your friends your new tattoo

You're gonna suffer, you're gonna bleed
I heard it all before, you will concede
I've taken everything, you're going down
Lock up the doors, it's gonna be a long night!

It's gonna be a long night, it's gonna be a cat fight, it's gonna be a gang bang, yeah!

Don't call your mother, don't call your priest, don't call your doctor, call the police!
You bring the razor blade, I'll bring the speed
Take off your coat, it's gonna be a long night!

You're gonna suffer, you're gonna bleed
I heard it all before, you will concede
I've taken everything, you're going down
Lock up the doors, it's gonna be a long night!

It's gonna be a long night, it's gonna be a cat fight, it's gonna be a gang bang, yeah!

Total send-up to Motörhead.

(Fatboy Jack >) I too, for one, and the "two for one" is not a sales-trick think that this song's a reference to Möterhead. Speed (amphetamines) and the whole image of Möterhead .. it makes sense. Apart from that, the song has no real "message" ... it's just about getting in a drug frenzy ... like one guy leading the other other into battle.

they said themselves it's a Motörhead parody

yeah. i dont really think so. never heard someone say "suck em down" when referring to meth, or any other drug snorted for that matter. plus, youre not sucking, its snorting. i always thought he meant the speed was to get him up, so he could beat the shit out of this guy, but yeah, the razor blade is for the lines, no doubt. idk

@stryker311 I never heard no shits like that either bro

This song is about two guys doing speed (Meth). The singer's forcing the other guy to do it. "Rack 'em up" means making lines of speed and "suck 'em down" (right now it says "sock 'em down" but the actual lyric is "suck 'em down") means snorting the lines. Razor blades are for making the lines, blah blah blah... speed keeps you up all night, and time seems to go really slow on speed, so it's gonna be a long night.

Not sure if it's talking about other drugs too ("I've taken everything") and not sure why the other guy is going to suffer and bleed... if anyone knows....

I don't think it's about speed strictly. I think the rack em up and suck em down part could be drinks.

I think it's a song about a general night of getting totally wasted and hopped up on speed and having a hell of a night.

I can sort of hear a little bit of Thin Lizzy in his delivery.

This song is just about two guys getting fucked up on drugs so they can fuck eachother up.

woxy.com just played this song and then followed up with Motorhead's "Ace of Spades", and at first I thought it was an extended version of the Ween song. Dead on.
