If it hurts kiss it better. You wear skirts I write nice letters. Never said nothin but "flowers", though we always talk for hours. And I know it gets much colder when I cry on my own shoulder. But we know the show will go on. Guess I know I guess I'll throw on. Jefferson airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed. But I won't complain or open all the windows. Jefferson airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed. But I won't complain or open all the windows. 'Cause when it's colder I feel much better when I cry on my own should. Just thow on a sweater and go. And I'll go to where the weather's nice and warm. And I'll go to where I am reborn. And I'll go 'cause in my dreams I can't complain. And I'll fly on my Jefferson Airplane. You make the calls I cover my ears. Niagra Falls still flows on New Year's. I will save your plugging neckline. Kiss your face, you try to deck mine. If I behave it's gonna cost him. Skip the rave in downtown Boston. We all know the show will go on. Jefferson airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed. But I won't complain or open all the windows. Jefferson airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed. But I won't complain or open all the windows. 'Cause when it's colder I feel much better when I cry on my own should. Just thow on a sweater and go.

i don't think they are letting go of their strong cchristian lyrics - there are some amazing songs on here, like "i am understood" and "getting into you" which i think show the growth as christians the band has. I don't understand anything this song is saying, but i'm sure it's nothing anti-christian...

To me this song is talking about how the singer is lonely, and feels like he is kinda trapped in his own world. He is feeling down and a bit depressed. And then when he talks about "a surgery to purge me of this lonely mood" he is talking about how he is going to cheer up, and focus on the positive. The jefferson airplane and magic feathers represent things that he was trying to use to help him, but that were not really helping him at all. In the end he learns that he can fly all by himself and he cheers up and he says that "i've got with me all that i need" well if you listen to the whole song that is. I don't know what this whole "jefferson airplane demo" is - is it on an older cd? because the new one has a longer version of this song, and it isn't called a demo. Also -- I dont get what stargazer00 is going on about. I mean, this song is a guy singing about how he gets lonely - just because you get lonely, or feel depressed, does not mean you are not a good christian or that you are "lettong go of their strong christian lyrics" -- what is up with people always busting on christian bands for "not being as strong christians" ? I'm fed up with the critizism. This band is awesome. God is awesome. And they do a good job of having a christian point of view on life's realities

i agree with puddle... the song also makes me think maybe they feel powerless to be a friend. It's so hard to maintain any kind of relationship when you're gone all of the time. It almost sounds like an apology to all of the people they had to say goodbye to, and are having trouble staying in touch with... i dunno, just an add on.

i think christian bands that turn a little more secular are actually more clever than those that stay hardcore christian... I mean, hxc christian bands are great for the christians, but isn't it all about evangelism? sometimes you must become like the the people in order to win them over...

I think the point of this song, to some extent, is that he's not gonna complain about the things that go wrong in his life, he's just going to accept them and deal with them, because bitching about them doesn't get you anywhere.

anywho, their are lots of mistakes in with the lyrics of this song. i don't feel like pointing out all the corrections that need to be made right now though. ok well maybe i'll make some, because otherwise, the way it is now, kinda kills the purpose of the song.

it should be "never said nothing WITH flowers" not "never said nothing but 'flowers'" and it should be "And it seems to get much colder when you cry on your own shoulder. We all know the show must go on, guess I know, I guess I'll throw on..." instead of what you have. and it should be "But I won't complain, I'll open all the windows" not "or open all the windows" because that typo defeats the purpose of the entire song. and... yeah there are other different things, but apparently this is just a "demo" so i'll submit the album version.

I guess someone got on and changed the lyrics for some reason. The lyrics to the demo of Jefferson Airplane that I have are this:

These are the lyrics for Pressing On! The lyrics for the Jefferson Airplane (demo) are this:

If it hurts, Kiss it better You wear skirts, I write nice letters Never said nothing with flowers Though we always talked for hours And it seems to get much colder When you cry on your own shoulder And we know the show Must go on Guess I know I guess I'll throw on

Some Jefferson Airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed But I won't complain I'll open all the windows Jefferson airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed But I won't complain I'll open all the windows

'Cause when it's colder I feel much better When I cry on my own shoulder I'll just throw on a sweater and go

And I'll go to where the weather's nice and warm And I'll go to where I am reborn And I'll go, cause in my dreams I can't complain And I'll go on my Jefferson Airplane

You make the calls I'll cover my ears Niagra falls Still flows on New Year's I will save Your plunging neckline Kiss your face You try to deck mine If I behave it's going to cost him Skip the rave in downtown boston And we know the show Must go on Guess I know I guess I'll throw on

And I'll go to where the weather's nice and warm And I'll go to where in a sense, I am reborn And I'll go, cause in my dreams I can't complain And I'll fly on my Jefferson Airplane

Jefferson Airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed But I won't complain I'll open all the windows Jefferson airplane I'm trapped and I am enclosed But I won't complain I'll open all the windows

'Cause when it's colder I feel much better When I cry on my own shoulder I'll just throw on a sweater and go

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
