this song is about beeing christian and getting fed up with the ideals of the world. he wants to escape this place because they have their values so screwed up. and he talks about how the people in the world have to hide themselves behind masks to even survive because if they showed their vulnerable selves, they'd get eaten for breakfast. This song is really about him making a decision to live for heaven and not for the world. "On what I left behind I won't waste a tear". he says that he doesn't regret his decision for one second. "and wait until I see with my own eyes again" he's talking about getting away from the world temporarily to clear his mind of the corruption it brought. "And wait until our minds speak the same words as back then". being christian and in the world, he let the world's ideals get to him and it made him lose some of the things that God wanted him to live for. So he's going away until he feels that his mind is free of the world and focused on god.
I like this song because it reminds me to be in the world and not of the world. Also, it reminds me a lot that I'm set apart and that, as one of His children, God has a higher purpose and a higher calling than what the world has for me. that's all.

I think it's pretty self-explanatory. And the above poster with a long name got it down pretty good.
I love the lyrics and message of this song, but there's alot of Blindsides song that i like much better, because i'm not really into the constant "screaming" I'm not so religious, so i don't really hear this song as a "christian-only" song. Blindside/Christian is very good at using the messages of The Bible and christianity in general, to make songs that everyone can relate to. You gotta love 'em :)
