This song is groovy, aint it.

A very great song, sounds like it has something to do with a relationship of some kind to me, still trying to figure this one out though

I think its about him trying to cope with the pain while trying to save their relationship after she confessed cheating on him. The lyrics sum up exactly how I felt having dealt with this myself.

[She confesses she cheated on him but still wants to be with him and he finds himself burning with pain and anger]

[He thinks back to when they first got together and remembers how it was only their love and he didn't feel this kind of pain with her]

[He realizes that she too misses the time where things were better and all they felt was their love]

[He would do almost anything to get back the love they lost and rebuild their relationship]

[Dual Meaning: She lights his fire, shes hot, BUT she has also burned him badly with her infidelity, now he must carry the scars of this terrible event with him and it has changed him forever]

[He feels like a fool for continuing to want her after what she has done]

[He feels he still needs her in his life and the pain is eating away at him, breaking him down inside]

[She shares fantasies of being with both him and her lover at the same time. He is turned on by the fantasies but also finds them agonizingly painful, leaving him conflicted on whether he wants to act them out or not]

This is how I have interpreted the song and is also exactly what I myself have been through not long ago.

However we made it through and we are still together, and probably stronger for having survived that nightmare.
