To me this song expresses anger, it just seems to build agression, when I'm drunk and I hear this song (since no one listens to Clutch these events are very isolated) I tend to pick fights with people. It also pumps me up for sports and stuff.
I read somewhere that this song was intended as a parody of the then-emergent nu-metal scene, the light/heavy dynamics, the vauge yet angsty lyrics etc. Though it functions equally well as a cathartic, fuck-everyone song, this explaination seems right to me, seeing as how the lyrics are unusually blunt by neil's standards.
This song reminds me of when you fight when you're drunk. It just seems like it starts out all groggy, but once you piss the guy off, he won't stop.
Binge and Purge is another stab at the human condition. bad habits like are addiction to violence and primal urges. This song does stir my urge to drink and embrace a fuck everything mentality.

This song is awesome, I am so currently obsessed with it right now. I think this song can be directed at anything that threatens you or makes you really angry. Such a dark and angry song, but it builds into doing something about it. To me, this song represents the anger I have towards my ADHD. I am so pissed off right now. I can't do school, I feel like a failure. I just want to scream so loud and blast this song so everyone can hear it. I am absolutely livid right now!!!!
Just a note, the title name "Binge and Purge" is a common phrase for what bulimic people do.
