kim deal is pretty damn cool.
If anybody doesn't know: Kim Deal was the bassist/vocalist with the legendary 'PIXIES' and then went on to form 'THE BREEDERS' (with Tanya Donnely of 'Throwing Muses' & 'Belly' fame)
i am not a huge fan of the Dandy Warhols but i love Kim Deal so i love this song.

He isn't insulting Kim Deal or being sarcastic. He's saying he wants a girl as cool as Kim Deal. Seemingly because he thinks it would make him cool (which he cares more about than being loved), so it's pretty shallow and self-deprecating.

She's stupid and trying to look cool. She doesn't mind being wrong as long as she fits in and seems cool. She's a bitch. Her music has to substance.
