Tell me exactly, what am I supposed to do
Now that I have allowed you to beat me?
Do you think that we could play another game?
Maybe I could win this time

I kind of like the misery you put me through
Darling, you can trust me completely
If you even try to look the other way
I think that I could kill this time

Rah, rah
Rah, rah

It doesn't really seem I'm getting through to you
Though I see you weeping so sweetly
I think that you might have to take another taste
A little bit of hell this time

Rah, rah
Lie to me
Rah, rah
Lie to me

Is she not right?
Is she insane?
Will she now
Run for her life in the battle that ends this day?

Is she not right?
Is she insane?
Will she now
Run for her life now that she lied to me?

You always wanted people to remember you
To leave your little mark on society
Well, don't you know your wish is coming true today?
Another victim dies tonight

Rah, rah
Lie to me
Rah, rah
Lie to me

Is she not right?
Is she insane?
Will she now
Run for her life in the battle that ends this day?

Is she not right?
Is she insane?
Will she now
Run for her life now that she lied to me?

Is she really
Telling lies again?
Doesn't she realize
She's in danger?

Is she not right?
Is she insane?
Will she now
Run for her life in the battle that ends this day?

Is she not right?
Is she insane?
Will she now
Run for her life now that she lied to me?

The little bitch, she went and she told a lie
And now she will never tell another, a lie
The little bitch, she went and she told a lie
Never fucking lie to me

I can DEFINATLY relate to this song. I had a girl that I felt this way about. Although I never went through with the same outcome the song ends with, not a day went by that I didn't want to.

In the first part of the song, this couple is going to give the relationship another try after the girl wasn't faithfull. He's ok with the fact that she's already burt him once, but he's not going to let it happen again! He's pretty sure he'll "Win this time".

Then he explains that he's very seriouse. He tells her that he'll even go as far as killing to protect his chared feelings.

In the third part, He tells her that he means bussiness and that it's time for stuff to happen. (tells her it's time to take just a little taste of the hell he can bring)

In the corus he's unsure of just how stupid this girl could be.

After the corus, he tells her that he knows how much she likes to "get around" and that he thinks she actually enjoys the attention she gets. But he's going to leave her "mark" for her by killing the men she's with. (if she cared for them, this is a GREAT idea...That's justice for ya!).

Now, after all this, she lies (cheats) angain!!! He's baffled...how could she be so stupid..."doesn't she realize she's in danger".

...and so, in the last three lines...he does what he has to do...heh heh heh.

***side note: I'm sitting next to her sister in a computer lab right now. She's talking to a friend on the other side of her. There's Irony for ya

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
