Days go by my window
World slows down as it goes
Goodbye to last night
Lost my eyesight
Can't you help me see (they won't get right)

Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive
Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive, alive, alive

Waking in the snow
Tracing steps with you
Swimming through the snow
Wrapped in blow we go
Can't you help me see (they won't get right)

Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive
Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive, alive, alive

Can you describe to me
All the world that you see?
Oh I need it so much, I'm just waiting on
Freedom is within you
Giving makes us feel good
Hello to more people
Say hello to the future
Freedom is within you
Giving makes us feel good
Hello to more people
Say hello to the future

Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive
Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive, alive, alive

Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive
Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive, alive, alive

    My Interpretation

Is that all people really think this song is about? drugs? come on..

I'm just going to explain each thing by paragraph to what I think this song is about, here goes:

    1. Days go by my window World slows down as it goes Goodbye to last night Lost my eyesight Can't you help me see

I think this is pretty self explanatory; life seems to be the same, constant unchanging things are happening which makes life boring, he is asking someone to help him see the world in a new light.

    1. Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive Loving every minute 'cause you make me feel so alive, alive, alive, alive

The chorus(which I LOVE) is super easy to interpret, the person that he is with makes his life fun, positive and he is "loving every minute" of it. although I can see the drug reference in this too haha

    1. Waking in the snow Tracing steps with you Swimming through the snow Wrapped in velvet Can't you help me see (they won’t get right)

To me, I start to realize that he is reminiscing the good ol' days with this person and he misses that feeling very much and in the last sentence "cant you help me see" I feel like he saying saying he wants that person(who helped him before) to help him see life like he used to.

    1. Can you feel it’s call through me I’m the one that you seek All you need is so much, I’m just waiting on

now this part is actually sung by a woman and it seems like she is the one that the main guy is talking about, i think what she is saying that he is asking for a lot from her because the world is not as beautiful as it used to be so she is waiting for a time where she can show him that beauty again.

    1. Freedom is within you Giving makes us feel good Hello to our people Say hello to the future

In this part he is saying that we have the power/freedom to make the world a better place (maybe like people from 1st world countries helping out the 3rd world countries), a peaceful world where people help each other out. That will become our future and it is welcome to come into our lives.

In the end this song makes me wonder about that woman that person was looking for, maybe she wasn't a woman but instead she was a beautiful world with no worries that he used to live in as a child rather than the ugly world with hate and war that he sees now as an adult.

I love this song and especially this band! I have seen a couple of their interviews and in one of the them he mentioned that he wanted to sing about the beauty in the world, he said that he was always hearing about hell and ugliness of it that he wanted to sing about heaven and the beauty of the world.

    My Opinion

This song doesn't have to be about drugs, it can be about a partner as well.

What? Connection with drugs can see only junkies without experience with love. Sorry for them.

It's about drugs again, I guess all their songs is about drugs. It's a nice song and the "Stretched" version is a real trip song.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
