Beacon Lyrics
Wait for something more
When you show
I follow
The beacon is calling me
The light that never dies
Reflections thrown above the sea
Casts shadows in the sky
Standing right in front of you
Is where I need to be
Reliving this is something new
And something finally
Take the deep end
And swim 'til you can stand
Cause it will make a difference in the end
Trip the shutter
And keep the picture close
Save it until you need it the most
(I'm coming home) I'm coming home
When you show
I follow
The light that never dies
Reflections thrown above the sea
Casts shadows in the sky
Is where I need to be
Reliving this is something new
And something finally
And swim 'til you can stand
Cause it will make a difference in the end
And keep the picture close
Save it until you need it the most

For me the beacon represents love. I dedicated this song to my boyfriend who lives 5 hours away (Standing right in front of you Is where I need to be) we broke up last year and came back together time later (Reliving this is something new And something finally) so i guess the song is about trying for something to work out even though we're not close to each other
One of my favorite albums. Love every song!! One part of this song trips me out cause I believe the lyrics are wrong.
The part:"The beacon is calling me"
I think it should say: "The beacon light is calling me" Does anyone agree?
there is something between "beacon" and "calling", but I'm not sure if it's "light"

@takeapiece It only makes sense that its light, because the following line says "The light that never dies" referring to the beacon light. It makes perfect sense because a beacon is defined as: a light or other visible object serving as a signal, warning, or guide.

@janeaparis1 I feel it says "A beacon that is calling me" because it mentions light in he line after so why emphasize it two times in less than a second? Just saying

I think in the beginning, instead of "wait you show..", it's "when you show" and for me I hear "The Beacon that is calling me" My brother says the beacon is having her with him because if you have the CD, the picture is basically of a woman's underpart lighting up, as in the beacon is her lady part haha
@Lalabaka55 sorry, I meant "A beacon that is calling me"
