This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
It's caving in around me
What I thought was solid ground
I tried to look the other way
But I couldn't turn around
It's OK for you to hate me
For all the things I've done
I've made a few mistakes
But I'm not the only one
Step away from the ledge
I'm coming down
I could never be
What you want me to
You pulled me under
To save yourself
(Save yourself)
You will never see
What's inside of me
I pulled you under just to save myself
Was there ever any question
On how much I could take?
You kept feeding me your bullshit
Hoping I would break
Is there anybody out there?
Is there anyone who cares?
Is there anybody listening?
Will they hear my final prayers?
Step away from the ledge
I'm coming down
I could never be
What you want me to
You pulled me under
To save yourself
(Save yourself)
You will never see
What's inside of me
I pulled you under just to save myself
(Save myself)
It's caving in around me
(Caving in)
It's tearing me apart
(Tearing me)
It's all coming down around me
(Coming down)
Does anyone
Anyone
Care at all?
I will never be
What you want me to
You pull me under
I pull you under
I could never be
What you want me to
You pulled me under
To save yourself
(Save yourself)
You will never see
What's inside of me
I pulled you under just to save myself
What I thought was solid ground

Hayalperest
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
Magical
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
Okay I'll take a crack at this one (my best guess, I could be wrong let's see).
From how I understand this song, he's pretty much telling the person to stop faking who they are lying about it, and they need to stop trying to make others be like they want.
So maybe about independence, not following the cool crowd and being an image someone else wants.
Anyone else getting this out of the song? Or am I off?
i was thinking the same thing, about independence and not following a crowd
@Ange1ofD4rkness - You really need to watch the video on 5FDPVEVO YouTube page. It is not about following a crowd. At that it is more about living outside the crowd. It is a song about standing on the ledge (i.e. suicide, ready to jump) and how one friend can pull you down off of the ledge and back to solid ground and safety. It is saying that we all need to have that friend that keeps us stable, but we also have to be that friend. The video is VERY powerful. If you have a heart, then it will bring tears to your eyes. It is very graphic and shows two teens committing suicide. It then show the events leading up to them doing so down to deciding, planning, and prepping. It then shows friends intervening at the last second and thus unknowing saving the teen's lives. It ends with the message "ONE FRIEND CAN SAVE A LIFE" and follows up with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline contact information.

Like I said, very powerful. Every parent of a teenager needs to watch it and then sit down and watch it with their teen and then discuss it. I would go so far as to say it should be shown in school as part of health class and then an open discussion on suicide.
