Oh yeah

Got you drinking out them white cups, sodas
All this shit sounds foreign to you, thick smoke, chokin'
Baby get familiar with the order
Just crack it, then pour it, then sip slow, then tip low
My eyes red but my brim low, that XO, she climbing
Straight to the top, forgettin' why she there in the first place
No more crying, heart rate slow, put that rum down you don't wanna die tonight
I promise, when you're finished we'll head to where I'm living
The party won't finish, it's a fucking celebration, oh yeah
For my niggas out tonight
Ah, and they high off Shakespeare lines
There's enough to pass around, you don't gotta wait in line
And the clocks don't work, you don't gotta check the time
And the blinds don't work, you don't gotta check the sky
We be going all night, 'til light

I got a test for you
You say you want my heart
Well, baby you can have it all
There's just something that I need from you
Is to meet my boys

You've been going hard, baby
Now you rolling with some big boys, baby
Got a lot you wanna show off, baby
Close that door before you take your fucking clothes off, baby
Don't mind
All my writings on the wall
I thought I passed my peak, and I'm experiencing fall
And all I wanna do is leave 'cause I've been zoning for a week
And I ain't left this little room, trying to concentrate to breathe
'Cause this piff so potent, killing serotonin
In that two floor loft in the middle we be choking
On that all black voodoo, heavy gum chewin'
Go on if you testing, baby if you dancin'
Grab a cup of that XO, baby I been leanin'
Back from the come down, girl I been fiendin'
For another round, don't you blame it on me
When you're grinding up them teeth
And it's fucking hard to sleep

I got a test for you
You said you want my heart
Well baby you can have it all
There's just something I need from you is to meet my boys
I got a lot of boys
And we can make you right
And if you get too high
Baby come over here and ride it out, ride it out

Work that back till I tire out
Roll that weed, bring that fire out
Taste that lean when you kiss my mouth
Bed so wet when I eat you out
Girl's friend screaming that I'm creeping out
If they're not down, better keep 'em out
Ex-man hollering, keep him out
Hard to let go, I could teach you how
Take a puff of this motherfucking weed for now
Take a shot of this cognac, ease you out
Just one night, trying to fuckin' leave you out
Baby, baby

I got a test for you
You said you want my heart
Well baby you can have it all
There's just something that I need from you is to meet my boys
I got a lot of boys
And we can make you right
And if you get too high
Baby come over here and ride it out (ooh yeah, ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
Ooh yeah
Come over here and ride it out (ooh yeah, ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
Ooh yeah

(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO) oh
(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO) ooh
(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO) ah yeah
(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO) X-O
(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO) ooh yeah
(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO)
(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO)
(That north north, that up top, that OVO and that XO, that)

    My Interpretation

This song is about Abel seducing this innocent girl into his dark and twisted world. He starts off by painting this scene of walking into this party where everyone is doing drugs. This is the girl's first time in this environment but Abel is there to guide her by giving her the step by step instructions on how to experience his high when she is finally where he wants her he brings up his proposition of sleeping with his crew. She does it. Then comes the second verse where she is now part of the crew. She is spending more time with Abel and every time they get together they are either sexing or trying to keep their high going. Eventually he get tired of her and wants to get rid of her. Before he does that though he makes sure he teaches her how to use the drugs and continue to party. I actually like the song. It has a dark story that you don't hear to often these days. The distorted voices only makes the song more dramatic and that much better. Though I do not condone people actually do these things I think The Weeknd is telling this from experience, but that makes it more authentic.

This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH GROUP SEX, ORGIES, GANGBANGS, OR RUNNING A TRAIN. Where does it say any of that? (In his song "Enemy," it's clear he doesn't mind sharing a woman or even multiple women, but still no relevance to this song.) Anyway, back to the Initiation lyrics. Pretty much, I could go on forever, but this song is strictly him expressing his desire to do multiple ("a lot") of substances with a female & most likely do sexually related activities while crossfaded (under the influence of multiple substances). His "boys" aka drugs&alcohol...very obvious. He refers to his guy friends as his "niggas," not his "boys." I'm sorry, but the only people intended to have sex is him (Abel) & whoever he is speaking to (or whoever is being initiated). Initiation is to get as geeked out, faded, stoned, drunk, high, baked, gacked, twacked, slammed, fucked up etc. as possible & then hammer time, I'd assume.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
