"I Be High" as written by and Larry Curtis Johnson Larry Johnson....
I ain't one for leaving
But if you treat me wrong
I'll be gone
Gone before the sun goes down

Ain't no going back now
Ain't no coming back around
So long
Long before the sun goes down

I won't apologize
I've been hiding
All my life

I finally feel that freedom
On the rise
Woo hoo

I ain't packing bags up
I ain't carrying a thing
Call my name
You won't see me again

Death might be waiting
But it better get some wings
I'll be flying
Riding on the wind

I won't apologize
I've been hiding
All my life

I finally feel that freedom
On the rise
Woo hoo

I won't apologize
I've been hiding
All my life

I finally feel that freedom
On the rise
Woo hoo

General Commentwhere he came from was low and his life before he had a lot of emotional problems and stuff but then in his new life he is"high" in the sense that it is a great life, but then theres also those sections that mix i be high with i be low to show that even though he is the high life right now, theres always small doses of low that he sees in himself and around him

General Commentyeah, he's definitely not saying that weed is why those good things happen to him, he gets high because good things happen to him

My Interpretationmost people don't understand how constant weed gets you equally LOW as well as "high"
if you understand this concept you can thoroughly comprehend cudis music

General CommentKid Cudi is not talking about weed in this song. Although it may be a coincidence that he made for a reason. He is talking about the High and Lows of life. The highs being about him having all his money and getting to do what he wants, but the lows cancel the highs out. He sees how he has changed with his fame and all his money. "On the airplane looking at the sky" this song is deeper then you think.

General Commenti think cntfeelmyface is exactly right. he's talking about both, the highs and lows that come with smoking weed alot and the ones that are just constant in life.

My InterpretationI believe kid cudi is promoting weed here... i think he is talking about his success when he is high (i be High) than his downfall happen when he is sober (i be low)
