I think its about...well, trying to push away the devil even though he tempts you in every way. But I do agree with @Antipride and @ToadQ1026

I think its talking about how cheap friends can be non christian friends specifically, they can stab you in the back, they'll talk behind your back they'll insult and spew 4 letter words at you. They might be hindering your relationship with God so you ask, why dont you leave me alone? it might not even be friends, it could be just co-workers who like to bully you. I'm not entirely sure but this is my guess upon it.
