This song speaks of a broken man. It speaks of a man whose lost it all due to his sins, he has hit rock bottem. He tries to find the answer in himself, in his pride, but can't find it. He has no where else to turn but to God. So he stares at the heavens broken, empty with blank stares. His face falls to the ground in prostration, in prayer. He surrenders his life to Jesus, the sound of salvation. And screams his salvation, "Who do I belong to? Not earth, not world, not evil, not mortals, not wretches, not horrors. Who do I belong to? Unchaging, unbreaking, unfailing, creator, imortal, eternal." It is only until we're broken can we be restored. |

| Project 86 – Independence Lyrics

You can easily say that this song is talking about any sin, but it is specifically talking about Independence, this world praises independence, when really we need God, we have a dependence on him. When we become a child of God we create a bond, a relationship and to try to seperate from this bonded state is a sin. Now you could say that the symbolic rainbow is talking about the Gay pride and what not or you could say thats what what every secular person does, they try to twist everything saying that how they live their life is good. We are created to have a relationship with God, so to go against it is unatural. To explain it in a little more depth its like this, When adam and Eve sinned against God, the fall of man, their souls were damaged. So now they have a hole in their soul, and their soul is hungry to fill that hole. Now Christians get a constant fill of love from God to fill this 'soul food', but if you dont have God you attempt to fill it with sex, drugs, rock'n'roll and all that jazz, but those are temporary fills and they will end, so then you have to go back for more and more, which create addictions and lifestyles of drugs and being gay or how ever you want to say it. Now about the whole gay thing, HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN, but God loves the person and hates their sins, that is my veiw on homosexuality and on any sin. |

Why have we ignored the first bit of lyric? its about a man who is completely broken and is finally look up to God, he is face down. It is beautiful, how we are so delicate in that state of brokeness, we become shattered, we have no other choice when we reach this state "we've lost all of control, our faces fall to the ground, we are powerless to your voice, surrender to the sound." Its amazing how powerful God is. AND THEN he surrenders and doesn't feel so shattered broke and all alone. I cried at the lyrics of "Who do I belong to?" it has such a secure feeling that we belong to such a powerful God, and that we do not belong to such evils. It is truely an amazing worship song. Why can't churches get with the times and worship this way? |

I think its talking about how cheap friends can be non christian friends specifically, they can stab you in the back, they'll talk behind your back they'll insult and spew 4 letter words at you. They might be hindering your relationship with God so you ask, why dont you leave me alone? it might not even be friends, it could be just co-workers who like to bully you. I'm not entirely sure but this is my guess upon it. |

| The Classic Crime – I Know the Feeling Lyrics

We are all born with a damaged soul because of Adam and Eve's sin. And we all are trying to fill that hole in our hearts, in our lives. Some fill it with family, your wife/husband or teenage sweet hearts, drugs, booze, porn, etc. But all those things wont fill it and when they fail your broken. But God, Jesus is the solution to that hole in your heart and he will constantly fill that hole with love (the Holy Spirit). |

| The Almost – Say This Sooner Lyrics

Alrighty I think the meaning to this song is that the protagonist in the song is a christian believes in God and has for a while and duzn't wittness to his/her friends until recently "should have said this sooner". So he/she starts living their life for Christ, stops partying and swearing and all that jazz and his/her friends think that he/she isn't the same person and that he/she is "gone" and is percicuted spiritualy, his/her faith is shaken. And it makes them feel they'll never be quite normal and that they'll never get out alive. And the protagonist is on the fence about God because his/her friends influence them so much. |

I think that its more of what Norma Jean said, that it is Jesus their talking about and who ever wants eternity for free become a christian and that he was looked upon as the bad guy by the Jews back in the day. As for "the serum is sour" I think that it means that you only have a life time to ask Christ into your heart and that once you die "the serum is sour" you cannot enter heaven once you lose the ability to live your life for Christ. |

I think its about 2 faced christians, one moment their praising God with a sort of spiritual high, but after that they go to the bar or do w.e their sinnful nature decides because they can't be the perfect christian they want to be so they live double lives, one spiritual and one sinful. |

Well December is the season of death, because all the plants die in the cold, its darker outside and because people and even animal's moods can change by light, if its brighter outside you become happier or more entergetic, if its dark outside you become saddened or tired. So yeah thats why God saves us from December. |

Its also talking about possessions that they just distract us from God and we spend too much time on them. Like TV or sports, you may have a sports hero but his morals are not that of Gods. and with all these possessions and love of truthless heroes. For what you kept and fought so hard to keep is all you'll have to leave on this earth and they will not last as long as God and the gifts he has in heaven. |

Cuz i'm pretty sure that Schwabbie knows what his songs are about but I took it like this, that as Christians we need to shine our light on the "Foolish mortals". And me being a teenager and all I see this song everyday as my peers and friends do drugs and I try to spread the word to them. My friends are "Foolish mortals" with their "Dark deeds" which will result in hell the "Mass inferno", they do their "Covert crimes" or partying or sex or w/e, and put things or hide them in their closet, closet the problem/hide the problem "Closet portal", once again if they dont change their ways their "skeletons are burning eternal" in hell. |

I think that its like this, "building an empire of secret rooms to display to yourself, add to your wealth" and that represents the way a man built up his life, on possessions and lies, pretty much a sinful life and didn't care until he lost his "empire". And then in 'My Will Be a Dead Man' he goes to take back his empire but he changes his veiws on life towards God and thats why in the music video all the ppl flood into the bar to listen to them, to listen to the good word. |
