In a city of crooked alleys,
Crookeder women and wicked men.
Dim lamps in the rumor mill
Suspicious kith and unkind kin
Haruspectre General
Sleeping soldiers in the field
Below the elders conspire
To turn the merciless and massive wheel
Strange cousins from the west overstay their welcome
Locked in among skeletons
Broken hearted and damned
Sorry to have to break it to you friend
But life seldom goes exactly as we plan
Strange cousins from the west overstay their welcome
Peculiar manner and strange dress
Who will ever dare to tell them?
The city's always thriving
Hungry bellows of the Minotaur
Everyday more are arriving,
And everyday it requires more
Unexpected circumstance
We must not delay
You have all been so very very kind to us
And we will return the favor one day.
Fate is the idiot's excuse!
Freedom is the sucker's dream!
But we hope you find some measure of comfort
In considering us to be your family
Strange cousins from the west overstay their welcome
Peculiar manner and strange dress
Who will ever dare to tell them?
Crookeder women and wicked men.
Dim lamps in the rumor mill
Suspicious kith and unkind kin
Haruspectre General
Sleeping soldiers in the field
Below the elders conspire
To turn the merciless and massive wheel
Broken hearted and damned
Sorry to have to break it to you friend
But life seldom goes exactly as we plan

My favorite song off SCFTW, and also one of the hardest to decipher. I think the lyrics are generally about the conflicts initiated by the USA (the west). Below the elders conspire To turn the merciless and massive wheel - the war machine being fed by the "elders", could be an illumanati reference or the men who make the decisions on who fights where.
The chorus of "Strange cousins from the west overstay their welcome Peculiar manner and strange dress Who will ever dare to tell them?" - For evolutionists the belief of all humanity is linked to one common ancestor, in turn making us all family so to speak. The west being the U.S. who have overstayed their welcome in Iraq.
I just found something out! "Haruspectre" from the fifth line isn't a real word, but it is a portmanteau of "haruspex" and the British spelling of "specter". Haruspex is a form of divination through inspecting the entrails of ritually sacrificed animals, usually the liver of a sheep. Given the context, Fallon could be painting us a picture of the future of some religions war, written in the blood of fallen soldiers. I say a religious war because sheep or lambs are often used to symbolize devout Christians. Could be a reference to recent conflicts in the Middle East, or any other religious war in history.
The rest of the song is lost on me as of right now.
To correct myself, "Haruspex" is the practitioner, not the art.

To agree with SwollenGoat, the minotaur was a tool of intimidation used by the ancient city of Minos, particularly used against Athens. the "hungry bellows of the Minotaur" could be the the calls to arms by those who wish to continue fighting at the expense of the conciencious objectors.
