And I know that we've still got time
But I do not think we're invincible
And I'm thinking that it's a sign
'Cause I do not think we're invincible

Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path

Now don't get me wrong, I love what you done with the place
I just wish we had a chance to help build it
Instead of just moving into this home of disrepair
And expect it to work, prosper and then share

Constantly relying on consuming to feel content
But only because we lost such with this home that we've spent
Trillions of dollars paying for our wants and not our needs
And now we're growing tired of planting bleary-eyed seeds

And I'm not saying that we could do better
But given the chance we'd try
We dig up the earth's not won soil
And feel the drench with greedy eyes

And I'm not saying that we could do better
But given the chance we'd try
We dig up the earth's not won soil
And feel the drench with greedy eyes
Imagine

Switch

And I know that we've still got time
But I do not think we're invincible
And I'm thinking that it's a sign
Deep breaths, clenched fists
Here comes another juggernaut

Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path

What the hell, what happened now?
I really don't know, man

We'll do what we've always done
Shut our eyes and hope for the best
No, we're gonna face this
And step out onto the tracks
Stare it right in the face
Thou shall not pass

And I know that we've still got time
But I do not think we're invincible
And I'm thinking that it's a sign
'Cause I do not think we're invincible

Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path
Crushing all in its path

And I know that we've still got time
But I do not think we're invincible
And I think that it is a sign
Deep breaths, clenched fists
Here comes another juggernaut

And I know that we've still got time
But I do not think we're invincible
And I'm think that it's a sign
And I do not think we're invincible

And I hope that we've still got time
'Cause I do not think we're invincible
The idea of community
Will be something displayed at a museum

Shit, this song is so good. Does anyone else feel like this fits perfectly with Fanfare For The Conscious Man? I love this song so much, it's another one of their songs that makes me shiver because of the lyrics. I think it's about how messed up the world is at the moment and how segregated everyone is because of war and other differences. It's a strong song man. Goood Enter Shik never fail to amaze me.

I watched the Making of Juggernauts the other day and I think it was Chris who said that this song is all about the big franchises pushing out the smaller companies.

Huge franchises like Tesco, Sainsbury's etc... just take over the smaller corner shops who simply try to make a living and feed their families.

The line 'Here comes another juggernaut!' is obviously referencing to how these bigger supermarkets and the like continue to come into our world and take over everywhere.

Rated 0 I think these are the correct lyrics to the album version.

And I know that we still got time But I do not think we're invincible And I'm thinking that it's a sign 'Cause I do not think where invincible

Crushing all in its path (x4)

But I'm not saying that we could do better But given the chance we'd try We'd dig up the earth's now won soil And fill the trench with greedy eyes

(imagine imagine imagine imagine imagine imagine imagine imagine imagine imagine) (mate, back in the day that empires made haste to colonise, to claim, to control and to contain, we sat patiently in the future, helpless)

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Head > Heels
Ed Sheeran
“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.
