Do you know what we're fighting for?
Well, let's fight, let us fight
Do you know what we're asking for?
'Cause I don't sometimes

I just want to kick off at something
Go to town and then make a scene
We're not sure what we're fighting for
But we'll fight

And I just want to give you
Something that I haven't got
I'm a walking advertisement
Of both light and dark

I'm not making any sense
I'm not making any sense
I mess up but don't forget that

This is what I sound like
This is what I sound like
Just to remind myself
That this is what I sound like

I was lost in a hotel bar
I was lost, I was lost
Is someone out there just laughing at us?
'Cause it seems that way

We'll stop at nothing to get what we want
Too young to realize we're all the same
I was lost in a hotel bar
I was lost

And I just want to give you
Something that I haven't got
I'm a walking advertisement
Of both light and dark

Oh, I'm not making any sense
I'm not making any sense
I mess up but don't forget

Oh, I'm not making any sense
I'm not making any sense
I mess up but don't forget that

This is what I sound like
This is what I sound like
Just to remind myself
That this is what I sound like

I'm shocked nobody has commented yet, this is my favourite off the new album.

I think he's reflecting on himself and how he doesn't like what he's become. He might be trying to impress somebody (a girl?) or maybe simply he's worried about the image he is giving off.

"a walking advertisement of both light and dark", "not making any sense", "don't forget that this is what I sound like", "i just want to give you something I haven't got" seem to all hint that he knows deep down inside he's good and wants to show that, but he can't stop behaving the wrong way and that gets to him.

I also think this is one of the best songs on the new album. I think he has met a girl that he would like to have a relationship with, but he's worried that he might hurt her. The song is giving her reasons why she should have reservations about him and then he's saying that when she gets hurt she shouldn't' be surprised because he warned her.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
