Do you have something to say?
Maybe that's why you keep callin', callin' me
Maybe you are too afraid
And that is why you keep stallin', stallin because
You know there's something here that matters
So baby tell me so I can make things better
So you know that..

Nothing's important right now besides something beautiful laying face down
Bury your eyes deep in the pillows of wanting more than something that's capable
Nothing's important right now besides someone suitable being left out
Bury our bodies so deep in the sheets of wanting more than we really need

Break it down

Will you just give us a shot?
And before you discard our progress
And I know it's asking a lot but seeing you was a promise
And I'm confident on how my heart decides
Till you decided to go and change your mind
And say that I can't spend the night
Cause you don't want to offend someone else you're dating

Nothing's important right now besides something beautiful laying face down
Bury your eyes deep in the pillows of wanting more than something that's capable
Nothing's important right now besides someone suitable being left out
Bury our bodies so deep in the sheets of wanting more than we really need

Uh, come on
(Nothing's important right now)
Waiting on a heartbeat
That you've stolen from me
Waiting on a heartbeat
That's making me feel empty

Nothing's important right now besides something beautiful laying face down
Bury your eyes deep in the pillows of wanting more than something that's capable
Nothing's important right now besides someone suitable being left out
Bury our bodies so deep in the sheets of wanting more than we really need

i think it's pretty obvious what the song's about. i'm pretty sure it's about him wanting to be with somebody who's promiscuous, and him trying to convince her to take a chance on something permanent with him. and it really does beg a question...can anyone REALLY love young?

Well Its pretty obvious to me what this song is about.. "Bury our bodies so deep in the sheets"? C'mon guys, its about sex! Booty time! I'm really surprised no one said that before, but yeah great song. Totally agree with you on the boy band thing too though, I've felt the same way.

I think this song is about him wanting this girl and he's sort of trying to convince/prove to her that he can be what she needs if she'd just give him a shot, but maybe she's not really sure how she feels about him, and he's sort of pushing her into it when she just wants someone to be there for her.

I see it as a girl who is seeing someone else, but likes this guy who is trying to reason with her (evidently he likes her too.)

propa reminds me of a situation I am in . hah. and I can totally vibe with the boyband feel as youse say

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin
This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
