Casse-Cou Lyrics

Nom d'un chien,
tu chantes comme un chat!

Patiente encore
un jour tu pourras
sourir comme moi.

Nom d'un chien,
tu chantes comme un chat!

Jésus crie encore plus fort
j'ai du mal à t'entendre

Oh nom d'un chien, tu fais chier!
Hum

I really do not think this song has any meaning whatsoever. I'm french-canadian so I can read the lyrics fine. Absolutely. No. Sense.

I speak a bit of french and ive got: Name of a dog you sing like a cat

still patient one day you'll be able to smile like me

name of a dog you sing like a cat

Jesus cries out again, harder I had trouble hearing you

Oh, name of a dog, you (make dump?) Hum

you cannot translate most of their songs words by words, due to expression and all.

I am french-canadian and while not a direct translation, this is how I think it makes more sense:

Oh my God, You sing like a cat!

Be patient still One you will Smile like me

Jesus cries out even louder I'm having trouble hearing you

Oh my God, You piss me off!

I really don't know what it means, but perhaps it has something to do with the petty annoyances that occur in a relationship. The Jesus reference seems kind of random, but it makes for a really clever double entendre in French. ("Jesus cries/yells" is pronounced the same as "Jesus Christ" in French.)

I meant to put "One day you will", not "One you will".
