The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.
JENOCIDE AND ... DEADBORN
+ BORN AND ... DEAD
SUICIDE + MR'BONE + DEAD
Stupid people, listen be careful
These go with you destroy yourself!
Desire to burst of yourself
Psychoanalysis tart of yourself
Vanilla shake hus complex
Treatment blood is dripping down
TO SLAY
My struggle is like
GIVE RISE TO SUICIDE
GIVE RISE TO ART
GIVE RISE TO DEAD
+ BORN AND ... DEAD
SUICIDE + MR'BONE + DEAD
Stupid people, listen be careful
These go with you destroy yourself!
Desire to burst of yourself
Psychoanalysis tart of yourself
Vanilla shake hus complex
Treatment blood is dripping down
TO SLAY
My struggle is like
GIVE RISE TO SUICIDE
GIVE RISE TO ART
GIVE RISE TO DEAD

In regards to the meaning of this song:
Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.”
That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
...no ones commented? its a pretty good song in all actuality...
i like the way kyo layers his singing voice with his way of throttling the words on another layer. he does this alot in other songs too ^_^ he's a genius
Don't like this song... I prefer the Missa version, which had REAL JAPANESE lyrics and REAL SINGING.
Can any one please post the japanese and english lyrics for the Missa version of this song.
GiveRise stop being so butthurt. Honestly it just comes across as pathetic...
I like both the old and new versions, yes with both SINGING STYLES and BOTH LANGUAGES, REGARDLESS IF IT'S JAPANESE OR ENGLISH.
