God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings (Featuring Sarah Mclachlan) Lyrics
God rest ye merry gentlemen let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ our savior was born upon this day
To save us all from Satan's power when we were gone astray
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
From God our Heavenly Father this Blessed Angel came
And unto certain shephards brought tidings of the same
How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading still proceeding
Guide us to thy perfect light
Born a king on Bethlehem's plain
Gold I bring to crown Him again
King forever ceasing never
Over us all to reign
Glorious now behold Him arise
King and God and Sacrifice
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Worship Him God most high
God rest ye merry gentlemen let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ our savior was born upon this day
To save us all from Satan's power when we were gone astray
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
And unto certain shephards brought tidings of the same
How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name
Comfort and joy
Oh tidings of comfort and joy
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading still proceeding
Guide us to thy perfect light
Gold I bring to crown Him again
King forever ceasing never
Over us all to reign
King and God and Sacrifice
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Worship Him God most high

Seriously- Sarah McLachlan and the Barenaked Ladies! What a crazy amesome mix! They are my fav band and she is my fav singer! I just about had an attack when I heard this one christmas! I always listen to it regardless if it is christmas!
i heard this was recorded backstage at the palace of auburn hills...sooo cool..
A decent enough take on a couple of old Christmas tunes.
