ahhh there are no comments!!!! man...project is such an awesome band...especially this song, i can totally picture it live. I love the You're the only home I know part, because there are times when everyone and everything you know sort of turn away from you and you realize that God is all you have, but He's also all you need. God is so awesome.

"Can you see (You're the only home I know) A shadow on me calling me to leave." In 2 Corinthians 5 it says how we are just living here in "tent" and that we groan to be in heaven where we belong. It's like we were made to live with God and he is the "shadow on me calling me to leave." Until then though we still need to live loving Christian lives.

I think sirsteven is right. I also think that in the beginning he is talking about living here on earth in sin "like forgery and larceny and my ill-gained revelry." But at the same time being a "religious church-goer" in "i recite these scripted lines..all i missed in all of this was you." he is missing out on knowing God and abusing forgiveness. THen he is realizing God calling him to leave that type of life and recieve his promises.

I love the desperation on Schwab's voice in the chorus. I also the love the pure humility found in the line "When every word you ever said came true, all I missed in all of this was you."

How many of us can relate to that? Realizing we've got this Christian "thing" down when really we haven't even caught the tip of the iceburg.

well idk guys it seems like hes talking about when he wasnt saved...well i mean him looking back on his life after getting saved and he loved to party hard in all that "but all i missed in all of it was You" it should be capitalized its talking about God
