I keep going over what I said
how your eyes disguise your mouth
the most incredible blood red
but there's nothing coming out
there's just empty stares instead
and i don't know what it's about
thanks to all your silence..

how'm i gonna know if you want talk to me
how'm i gonna show you what you got if you won't look at me
now i know this ain't what it's suppose to be
how'm i gonna know if you want talk to me...

i used to hang on every word that you never said
but it never occured it was only in my head
the only voice i heard was mine saying everything is fine
it was hypnotizing...

...
IT'S NOT FAIR TO LEAVE ME HERE WHEN I'M THIS WASTED
IT'S NOT FAIR, NO! NO!, I GUESS YOU WERE NEVER THERE

ah, relationship problems. lack in communication, a biggie. it's about denying that there's a problem, and then when you admit it, and you're trying to work it out, the other person doesn't want to tell you what they're thinking.

I really like this songvery much. I think Stroke 9's song are getting better. I once e-mail the lyrics to all my MSN contacts and most of them said that the lyrics are meaningful and sweet. I like the chorus cause it's like what I'm going thru right now.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
