I still wonder when the medicine will take it's effect
And the injection they made, it's all just left me the same
It's hard to concentrate with echoes of your voice in my head
From all you said, I'm still paralyzed

But I'm almost out of breath
From saying things
That I'll regret, that I'll regret
My time is over
I can't do this alone
But I'm almost out of breath
From saying things that I'll regret
That I'll regret
My time is over
I can't do this alone

And I'm infected with you, pull the plug already
Tell me before I go that you're infected with me
And I'm infected with you, pull the plug already
Tell me before I go that you're infected with me

I can't remember if I ever took a minute to say
That if it had to be now, I'm glad it had to be me
I can't recuperate, I'm never going to leave here alive
Just help me through this
Don't let me die here

But I'm almost out of breath
From saying things
That I'll regret, that I'll regret
My time is over
And I can't do this alone
But I'm almost out of breath
From saying things that I'll regret
That I'll regret
My time is over
I can't do this alone

And I'm infected with you, pull the plug already
Tell me before I go that you're infected with me
And I'm infected with you, pull the plug already
Tell me before I go that you're infected with me

I'm killing time just trying to find the words that fall so short of you
I'm losing sleep, I can't compete, I'm giving up
I can't do this alone
I can't do this alone
I can't do this alone
I can't do this alone

To me it seems like they're speaking about addiction? Especially with the video! The man sitting at the computer looking around. Nobody is there, and hes infected with this addiction possibly porn, or something. The word "Infected" makes me think of virus's, and cookies left over from when you surf the web, and the whole pull the plug thing. The whole "I can't do this alone" thing makes me think about accountability. I went through an internet course that freed me from porn, and it involved having an accountability partner. That's just what I think though. Hey, I don't mean to be a mommas boy, but we really shouldn't return fire for fire to Korn**666. If he's that way its probably because christians where mean to him, or he doesn't quite see why we believe. He was extremely rude though. God bless all of you guys!

KoRn_fucker666, I am not Christian and I deeply enjoy listening to Demon Hunter. I actually dont' even believe in God, but that doesn't mean that it's my right to make fun of Christians and people who believe in a God. I actually think people that believe in God are better than myself because they have a strong passion for something they believe in. Far better than what you could ever hope to acheive. Also, if you think Korn is "hard core", you are a very sad person. Look into Re-Animator, Swashbuckle, Kreator, Cannibal Corpse, Skinless...at least something that could be considered metal, instead of that stupid jerbang music you pass off as "heavy metal"

I actually believe the song is about love sickness. I just don't feel like explaining it, though. Sorry to those that care to hear.

    From blessedresistance.com

Infected' paints an image of a person on their death bed and the thoughts that would run through their head at such an overwhelming time. The story told explains that no matter the illness at hand, it's much more important to be infected with the love of Christ. It suggests the importance of your relationship with the Lord specifically during this inevitable yet potentially glorious crossroad from your life here on earth into the life thereafter.

Dude why is everyone on here responding to that Korn guy's msg, I may not be perfect but I know that insulting someone for pissing you off isn't the right thing to do, and anyway he's probably just trying to get a reaction out of you. Jesus told us to LOVE our enemies

Jivren, let me just say that you are AWESOME. You give a great example of the way us Christians are supposed to act. Instead of insulting those who insulted us, we are called to do nothing but love them. I am glad to be able to call you a brother in the Faith.

As far as song lyrics go, I believe that this is a song about a man on his deathbed, praying to God, begging that he keeps him. He goes through thoughts everyone would have, from begging for the acknowledgement that Christ was in his heart, such as "I'm Infected With You," to begging to actually not die at all. It's a very powerful song, and it's more of a story than a moral.

God Bless Everyone Here, and KoRn**666, may Christ find you one day.

"My time is over, I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE, I'm infected with YOU, pull the plug already, tell me before I go, that you're INFECTED WITH ME"\

We can't do anything without Christ. We should strive to be infected with Him, because that's what He wants.

Another amazing piece of work from Demon Hunter... doesn't even sound like christian music if you look at it in a certain way. So really, these songs can be interpeted in more than just one way.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

American Town

The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
