Die Buying Lyrics

Tempting life
Won't come and beg for the last time
It's already ours we just came here to claim it
And we are not paying a dime
In the street you'll find us
Vulnerable but lit up like a cigarette
Celebarating thankxmas
Without a regret

Can't buy this freedom
With another slogan
With another lie

Can't buy this freedom
With another gadget
Buy or die

So what do you say, let's stay
And not run away
You can't buy this freedom
With another slogan
With another lie

Tempting lie
I feel like houseclimbing
Down the street
Newfound freedom
Making wings grow out of my feet
In these streets we live
In these streets we die
Fear is expensive
And freedom is so free that it's hard to buy

Can't buy this freedom
With another slogan
With another lie

Can't buy this freedom
With another gadget
Buy or die

So what do you say, let's stay
And not run away
You can't buy this freedom
With another slogan
With another lie

Yeah, Yeah

Can't buy this freedom
With another slogan
With another lie

Can't buy this freedom
With another gadget
Buy or die

So what do you say, let's stay
And not run away
You can't buy this freedom
With another slogan
With another lie

Cover art for Die Buying lyrics by Blindside

This seems to be a song about how Christ and christianity has been removed from all things advertissement related. Also, about how people use Christ as a business scheme to make money (like Passion of the Christ making big $$$, although I'm sure Mel had good intentions). The song is saying that money does not buy you the kind of freedom that only God can give. This explaination is a little sketchy, but that's what I can get out of it.

I think this song explains how desensitized that people have become these days...like 'celebrating thankxmas, without a regret' that really jumps out at me because think of how many people have lost the true meaning of Christmas...this song is also saying how Jesus is the only way, no slogan, lie, or gadget...and the best line...'Buy or Die'...You follow Christ, or hell's going to be a hot eternity...

i think this song is awesome, but the verses sound alot like the guitar riff from meant to live by switchfoot, anyone else notice that?

Rockinallnight, i think you are sort of right, they actually do sound a lot alike, its hard to listen to one song and think of another though. I think its kind of strange though because i cant stand switchfoot , but i could listen to blindside all day. Nice job noticing the similarities
