I'm pretty sure this song is about when you are passing thru an "Eye of a Storm" as a christian, I mean when you feel that God is not close enough, and you havent done anything wrong, but the matter is that God is just waitting for you to grow, in some special way, so is like an "Eye of a Storm", because you don't fell anything, and you know that the storm is right there, in front of your eyes, but you don't feel it,

...well the chorus ends with "And I'll still come out loving you even more ", is because you are so focused in God that you know that you're not going to fall meanwhile God's plan is working without moving you, and after all the time you were craving for Jesus to come he comes and makes you fell so good, like in Shekina.

Great opener to an amazing album, Christian's vocal range is just awseome.

When he yells 'goodbye' at the beginning, that part is awesome.

I think it's about a guy ( sexy christian mabye? ) trying to get his girl to come back to him. " Hope is so much closer to beauty than sorrow " I mean they really know how to write 'em. I really like this song alot.

I was going to say the same thing I like this song. Blindside always has great meanings to their songs. Thats why I am interisted, I am sick of just humming empty songs. People are always razing about how God doens't care because this or that bad thing happened to them. But what people don't see is that God is there with you in the eye of the stom helping you and teaching you. You might come out of it stornger, smater, and more in love with God than before. Don't give up it's worth it.
