you said everything like it was an afterthough. you should have used it more wisely, that soul you bought. and now your mouth's running on, telling us all the was she went wrong. but nobody's listening and so soon we'll all be gone. wrong, so you didn't get it right. no one ever gets it right. what's it like at am 5 o'clock when all the love's asleep on your block. post memorial drive, you'll be the last to leave, to say your goodbyes to ghosts eternally lost inside. your son's hands stayed warm long after he died. it's all a matter of reaching. it's all a matter of covering. believe me it's nothing. believe me it's everything you never wanted it to be. it's all a matter of reaching. it's all a matter of struggling. believe me it's nothing. believe me it's everything you ever needed it to be. this can't be an afterthough. this right here is all i want. you are the beautiful you are the beautiful you are the beautiful you.

Does anyone know how to speak this title out loud? "when I was in"? "when I was in blank"? "when I was in line"? DeSoto Records put this up as the preview track to the album. A much better choice for unfamiliar listeners than Rodeo Programmers was for their first album, which made me think they may have been some shoutty Scottish bards. Not that that was a bad song, just not very defining of Juno's sounds and style. This, however, is a shining example of their excellency.

You can stop being broken up now, please.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
