I always thought that this song was about how Koichi Fukuda (the previous Static-X guitarist) left the band so therefore he is "no longer part of (the Static-X) machine"

I always thought it was "changing into something less than... You are no longer part of this machine." Hmm.... maybe not because then the first line doesn't really mean anything, but that was just my understanding.

It happens to sound than Wayne Static's song have a great deal about changes- My guess is that he may have suffered through many dramatic changes in his life, and in this song that he's trying to force the changes out, but he can't and is turning into something less than human, a 'machine'.

"Get into my hidden demon Get out of my swollen head Shines down on blackened faces Changing at your expense"

This part does confuse me though, but I'd say it's Static saying "Get away, stop trying to change me, it will come down on both of us and I'll make you regret it."

That, or the lyrics are absolutely random but sound cool. =)
