Hand me a line
Really hand me a line
Really hand me a line
Hand me a line
Really hand it to me

I always loved you
Love dumpling
Your shit's like chocolate cake
And your ass smells like a rose
I really hate you
Love dumpling
Now my bowels ache

Drop down in a line
Really hand me a line
Really hand me a line
Hand me a line
Really hand it to me

This song is an awesome one, however its incredible obvious what hes talking about. He's singing about fucking his girl in the ass. If you listen to the girl parts "I cant believe i'm letting you do this to me", "I've always loved you", "I hate you love dumpling" Its the girl telling him that she hates him because he just fucked her in the ass, "my bowels ache". I didnt think it was that difficult to understand but no one on this board seems to get it. Ah well. No one at the concerts seems to understand either. Subliminal meaning arnt always that hard to understand, or that hidden. Most of the times they're sitting right under your nose. Smelling like a chocolate cake and a rose.

I dont think it has much anything to do with fucking in the ass or anything... im a huge static-x fan and ive read on their forum many times that the story is about an ex girl friend she dumped him (love DUMPling) and he thought she was so perfect (shits liek chocolate cake) and after the relationship was over it was looked at a diffrent view (i cant belive im letting u do this to me..... now my bowels ache) and so on and so on

    Song Meaning

This song is about scat. It is a fetish where people get off on eating other peoples poop. Look scat up and you will see how sick people really are (unless you are under 18). I know because of a freaky family member that wanted to gross me out, he succeeded! Think about it, after ingesting fecal matter (intentionally or on purpose) your bowel will ache because of toxins. Also, in the background you hear a girl saying "I can't believe I am letting you do this to me" which can mean very unconventional sex (sickening!)

I know this doesn't explain the meaning too well, but my best friend and I are huge static-x fans, and when she first heard this song, she thought it was a great, sweet love song. however, i then told her what wayne is saying (your shits my chocolate cake and your ass smells like a rose)- this song never meant quite as much to her again

It's great this song. I didn't realise it was 'love dumpling' I thought it was 'love dumping' or summat. But anyhoo, I thought it was kinda cute that he was calling his ex love dumpling! It doesn't put me off chocolate cake cos he's only comparing her shit to it saying that everything about her absolutely fantastic even the not so desirable things. Now the only question to ask is how does he know what her shit tastes like? But than they break up - "Now my bowels ache" etc. :( So sad!

think about it taking a shit is repulsive, but isnt it satisfying?

he loves her, but he cant get away; like he's addicted.

you can compare it to women and chocolate... they know it's got calories, but it tastes sooo good...

Yes, but chocolate releases the same chemicals in your body as having an orgasm...but that's only for women...sorry lads! ;)

Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
