Just a little bit of Static-X trivia here:
The name of the album and the song Wisconsin Death Trip, according to Wayne Static, are from a book he found at a yard sale. It was full of pictures of dead bodies and babies in coffins, and he says it left an impact on him.
Just a little info on it...I don't see how it relates to this song, though. Any takers?
your right about the book...but I wouldn't have a clue what it's about.... Static-X is bringing out a comic in may...called static-x...I dont read comics, but it's got a remix CD on it...so I'll get the first issue :)
It is about the book thing. I think what happened in this town in Wisconsin where one year in like the 19th Century everyone started killing each other. Not all at once just ocassionally if you get my drift but loads of people either where murdered or commited suicide. For example, there was this one knid who shot his dad point-blank with a rifle and went on the run with his little brother because he threatened to kill him too. They went on the run for about a week until the police caught them. The older brother was like the youngest person to be executed but the little brother was let off because he had nothing to do with the murder. I watched a programme about it on tv.
