It is about the book thing. I think what happened in this town in Wisconsin where one year in like the 19th Century everyone started killing each other. Not all at once just ocassionally if you get my drift but loads of people either where murdered or commited suicide. For example, there was this one knid who shot his dad point-blank with a rifle and went on the run with his little brother because he threatened to kill him too. They went on the run for about a week until the police caught them. The older brother was like the youngest person to be executed but the little brother was let off because he had nothing to do with the murder. I watched a programme about it on tv.
