White Lion – All the Fallen Men Lyrics

Seems to be a very heartfelt dedication to all those who have died in battle and those who were sent to fight against their will by those in power. Some of Tramp's best lyrics were on that first album. |

Brian Eno – Prophecy Theme Lyrics

Beautiful electronic theme used to great effect in David Lynch's adaptation of Dune. The keyboards evoke the sound of desert winds. Great track. |

Soundgarden – Hunted Down Lyrics

Sounds like an escaped convict from a prison. The starving dogs on his trail are those of the police trying to catch him. He has to disguise himself for the rest of his life so that no one catches him. |

@[fade_out_again:23974] This song was first, do I'd give Soundgarden the nod, since this is also better. I love both songs though. |

Ozzy Osbourne – Now You See It (Now You Don't) Lyrics
| 8 years ago
|
It's about Bob Daisley hating Sharon Osbourne. It's pretty clear from the lyrics it's about how she screws him over. "Overbearing woman, give me central heating, expect me to pay the bill...etc" Bob is still in awe that they allowed it on the album. Despite the credits, Ozzy did not write a single word or note on this album. |

Queensrÿche – Speak Lyrics

@[emberobin:4705] He wants to lord to "Speak to him". Just one interpretation. It could have a double meaning, both wanting people to cry revolution, but he's a death angel, meaning that he obviously feels something morally wrong because of religion. |

@[emberobin:4703] I'm not saying god is real and that everything is about god and you should trust him and shit, that's really what this song is about. Mary is a fucking nun. It does sound like I'm a church nut, but I assure you that I don't believe in that stuff, and that's not my interpretation for everything. There is no reason for you to downrate it. |

Judas Priest – Pain And Pleasure Lyrics

S&M. It's about a masochist being whipped or something of the sort by another, and being hurt yet at the same time sexually stimulated from it. It has nothing to do with leaving a girl/boyfriend. |

@[cmp744:2477] I think the last line "We'll call him Nate, if it's a boy." Might reference the Chinese killing their daughters. I just felt that way when I first heard, like they wouldn't keep the maybe unless it was a boy. |

Keel – Raised On Rock Lyrics

The best Ron Keel's voice ever was. His "Keel" scream is extra-great on this track. The song is about being literally raised on rock 'n' roll and never wanting to stop the rock. |

It's not that bad. I'd prefer some more variety too, but the music is still good. |

Pink Floyd – What Shall We Do Now Lyrics

The beginning lyrics I can't add in:
What shall we use, to fill the empty spaces,
Where waves of hunger roar?
Shall we set out across the sea of faces,
In search of more and more applause? |

That would be "Some other amusement." Not abuse. And "I've got to get on with this" not "We've got to get on with this." |

L.A. Guns – Over the Edge Lyrics
|
The song sounds like he's just had a problem with his relationship and is now isolating himself from the world with what he has at his house. Cranking his music and Japanese TV. He's smoking a lot to mellow himself out that he can barely breathe. He's still angry, through all the drugs "thin ice is about to crack" he's gotten in deeper that he intended "over the edge" and is now having hallucinations through his drugged daze. He keeps taking more until he no longer feels pain or love. The song is semi-reminiscent of Pink Floyd's
"Comfortably Numb" in the respect of drugs, melancholy and isolation. |

Pink Floyd – The Last Few Bricks Lyrics

They played this instrumental during the original concert performances of "The Wall" in between Another Brick In the Wall (Part 3) and Goodbye Cruel World to give their stage crew enough time to fill in all bricks but one saved for Goodbye Cruel World. |

Prince – Let's Go Crazy Lyrics

The next song on the album is called "Take Me With U" for god's sake. The lyrics inside the album also shorten words, so I really don't know what you're complaining about. |

These aren't the lyrics I submitted. This is a disorganized mess. Stupid copyright BS. They're lyrics. Why the hell do they care if you use them? It's not like a novel. |

I believe you meant that you're in full agreement with him and that John Bonham is great, but severely overrated. |
