The first thing to imagine is a strained relationship where barely anything is going right.....the guy tries and tries his hardest, but can't make it work. The girl is finally driven over the edge and drives off. The guy chases after her to try and stop her. The big horror ending in the video (and can be implemented into the song) is the girl committing suicide in traffic. Both ways it just gives me chills, yet I love this song and would recommend it for a listen to anyone. |

This interpretation kinda goes between the song and the music video. In the music video, we find a kingpin running a stuffed animal fighting league. We have our big champion and all of the challengers. It's run more or less like a prison, with the defeated challengers being put into confinement. Let's say the pink bear is a former occupant coming back to avenge what happened. ("breaking in....") He's beaten around for a little bit. Then, a new burst of energy (....straight from inside) comes forth and he defeats the champion. This is more like a fight song than anything that tells us to never back down. |
