i love this song. it is amzing. to me it is about running away from your addictions or sin. dear x-the x represents whatever addiction (porn, drugs, smoking, drinking, ect) and he is saying (x) you dont own me. you will not control my life. (x) the temptation is all ways still around and tempting him "i no your still chasing", "i no your not far" but he has held his ground and not given in "i was yours but im not yours anymore" i personally have been threw this situation and this song is so true its crazy.
This song quite literally tells us not to let our human cravings control our lives, like drugs, porn, love, idols, heroes, and to strengthen ourselves against it.
