The lyrics to this song are very storng and defiant, and lead me to think that they are about taking setback as it comes, and "carring on" even though people are fearful, and will not stand up. It's about being forced to leave your home, where you feel you were once safe, but now there is no choice, due to oppresion, loss of freedom possibly? |

Well this song is obvously about a solitary elderly man. I think he has lost everyone he loves, and now he lives in an attic, painting pictures of those he has lost.
He may have been locked in an attic by his family?? Maybe a little obscure...
but he seems very wise and secretive, and nobody knows he exists. |

I love this song, it's so different form the rest of the album. So simple and beutiful.
It's a song about forever being left begind in life and never achieving your dreams.
I think (though I can't be sure) that the second verse is a reference to Robert Burns' poem "To a mouse". |

The song is about not wanting to fit in or get along with someone else. He can't get everyone to understand why he is failing someone he loves. It seems that they simply cannot get along, despite others expectations he is trying to give reasons.
He doesn't fit into the same mould and doesn't want to be treated like everyone else.

The "rollin' on" parts have been put in either... These lyrics are pretty shoddy, I'm gonna fix them up.
Anyway, I agree that this song is about virgin car sex, and while the girl believes that the guy loves her, but isn't true "And I told you it was love,
but you won't know the truth".
Their sex was probably a 'spur of the moment thing' that wsn't thought through "heart is in the right place brain is in the dirt". It will probably be something of his youth that he will regret. |

This song is obvoiusly about the Titannic and the afte she suffered.
The band that played was the ships band, who lpayed on through the panic and kept going till the ship sank. None of them survived. They tried to keep everyone calm and upbeat through the ordeal. |

This song is about one person going on and fighting even though his 'brothers' have left him behind.
He wants them all to keep fighting to get wht they want no matter what happens and not get crushed by the obstacles in their way. |

They used this song for some big presentation at school with massive screens and loud music. Very powerful and uplifting song. Until I read the above comments, I had no idea the band was Christian, so words to me feel as though someone has lost someone emotionally but is still involved with them, even though they aren't the same person anymore. |

I agree with Chloeeee on those lyrics.
It seems to me that someone in a relationship wants to kill their abusive partner, but if they do they might as well be dead too.

They feel that it may be their fault, and that if they are killed, it will end the suffering for them both.
Amazing, powerful song, I love ffaf.
