To me, its like a suicide note. It's so sad though. Anger runs right through this in a real calm way until the end. I can connect with the song, but not so much with the way I interpretted it. It's just about escaping everything, whether it be leaving, etc. Just escaping it all. |

I think this song is based on the story of Walking Tall. The latest movie of Walking Tall, is just a remake. The whole 'make my day' part reminds me of Dirty Harry. It's just one man being the law, like a vigilante of their own brand of justice, using a piece of wood as the weapon. |

Anyways, I think the song has to do with relationships, obviously. Its basically doubting a relationship. Questioning oneself, asking will it work or will it be screwed?
