So Long...And Thanks For The Crutches Lyrics
Just enough freedom to forget you’re a slave,
just enough anger to make sure we get paid
easy does it baby don’t lose your head—cause we both know
that ideals don’t sell come now pass us the saccharin
part 1 then part 2 who knew you had it so easy
hit it hit it we’ll go straight to the top
its all a matter of whose cock you suck
we got the money hey come on lets go ha!
You know you want it hey!
You know you want it ( well c’mon)
shake it like a rebel just don’t cross any lines
cause family god and country are back in style
sex drugs and politics are fine—just remember
that we own you, we bought you, and we’ll sell you whenever we want to
we brake your legs and you will thank us for the crutches
we wanna fuck but we end up kissing
is this still rock cause the danger is missing
you gotta feed it gotta feed your addiction
so pack a lunch for the next crucifixion
just enough anger to make sure we get paid
easy does it baby don’t lose your head—cause we both know
that ideals don’t sell come now pass us the saccharin
part 1 then part 2 who knew you had it so easy
hit it hit it we’ll go straight to the top
its all a matter of whose cock you suck
we got the money hey come on lets go ha!

This song sounds like its about the music industry in general. Specifically, all of the labels that bounced BSF around because thier message was too "extreme". This song is from the point of view of the record label suits talking to the band.
Yeah no kidding. The only reason their message seems 'extreme' because its the truth. And people in general are afraid of that. But onto the song. Its message is quite clear. They are pissed off at the music industry. They were booted from their ideals werent making them money. Go BSF. Stick to the man. Too bad they're broken up now.
Oh shit. Left something out. Made a mistake. I meant to say: They were booted from their label because their ideals werent making them or their label any money.
