It sounds kinda like this guy their song is about has a problem with substances (steroids?, drugs?). And that he wants to get off of them because they're bringing him down... only thing is that the Demo version has a better screaming part (the main one where he screams "Wake UP!!"). while the lyrics may not be the best in the world, it is still a good song, guitar is not bad. it's about overcoming things like drugs/alcohol. like every band writes songs about.

This was one of my favourites in 2006. Judging by the music video, I'd say it's about an abusive partner, possibly influenced by drugs.
Isn't yellowcard a emo punk band? Assuming your name has meaning to that band, yellowcarded. I seen this band in concert. Amongst buckcherry, pappa roach and hinder and the best performance was from these guys. They know how to rock live. I'd love to see them again.
