I've Been Everywhere Lyrics

I was totin' my pack
Along the long dusty Winnamucka road.
When along came a semi
With a high canvas covered load.
If your goin' to Winnamucka,
Mack, with me you can ride.
And so I climbed into the cab
And then I setteled down inside.
He asked me if I'd seen a road
With so much dust and sand,
And I said, "Listen! I've traveled
Every road in this here land!"

I've been everywhere, man.
I've been everywhere, man.
Crossed the deserts bare, man.
I've breathed the mountain air, man.
I travel - I've had my share, man.

Cash is a master...it must be a list of many places he been to...including a few in my homestate. Fargo, Devils Lake, and maybe even Larimore. Larimore is a town that has around 1000 people in my home state. Could it be possible that Cash stopped there, maybe just to eat lunch.

i think duh this is where he has been - everywhere, but i also think that he's telling whoever he's talking to, nothing can shake me and nothing surprises me - i've seen it all and that's how life is, you go everywhere and see everything and then you die pretty sweet song about life - how did he get to be able to sing so fast? -rebeckah
